A bill to amend the act entitled "An Act to authorize appropriations to the Atomic Energy Commission in accordance with section 261 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.

Establishes procedures for the filing and approval of claims by the Energy Research and Development Administration for Federal assistance for remedial actions designed to limit exposure of individuals to radiation from uranium mill tailings used in construction near Grand Junction, Colorado.

Stipulates that the amount of such payments shall be determined by the Administration. Increases the amount authorized to be appropriated for such purposes from $5,000,000 to $8,000,000.
