Amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to increase, from $250 to $1,000, the dollar value of merchandise authorized for duty-free importation.
Prohibits the Secretary of the Treasury from requiring a bond with respect to the delivery from customs custody of imported merchandise which is not subject to duty or valued at more than $1,000, under such Act.
