A bill to amend the Tariff Act of 1930 to increase the dollar value of merchandise eligible for informal entry and to change certain bonding requirements.

Amends the Tariff Act of 1930 to increase, from $250 to $1,000, the dollar value of merchandise authorized for duty-free importation.

Prohibits the Secretary of the Treasury from requiring a bond with respect to the delivery from customs custody of imported merchandise which is not subject to duty or valued at more than $1,000, under such Act.
