An original bill to amend the Small Business Act and the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 to increase the authorization for certain small business loan and guarantee programs.
Small Business Act Amendments - Increases the total amount of loans, guarantees, and other obligations or commitments made by the Small Business Administration for specified programs under the Small Business Act and the Small Business Investment Act which may be outstanding at any one time. Increases the amount which may be appropriated to the revolving fund for surety bond guarantees under the Small Business Investment Act. Preempts State usury laws to allow a Small Business Investment Company to make loans at an interest rate higher than that prescribed by such State laws.
