A bill to provide for emergency relief for small business concerns in connection with fixed price Government contracts.
Small Business Emergency Relief Act - Authorizes the head of any executive agency to terminate for the convenience of the Government any fixed-price contract between that agency and a small business concern encountering significant and unavoidable difficulties during performance because of the energy crisis or rapid and unexpected escalations of contract costs.
Specifies the documentation and certification required of a small business concern to support such a request for relief.
Gives to the term "small business concern" the same meaning for the purpose of this Act as such term has for purposes of the Small Business Act.
States that the authority conferred by this Act shall terminate December 31, 1975.
