Provides that when a member of an armed force is ordered to make a change of permanent station he may transport one motor vehicle by State-owned ferry vessel and be reimbursed for the ferry expenses, if transportation by such means is less expensive than other authorized methods of transportation. (Amends 10 U.S.C. 2634 (a))
Provides that when any member of an armed service is authorized to travel by privately owned vehicle and a portion of that travel is accomplished on a State-owned ferry vessel, such member may be reimbursed for the ferry expenses.
