A bill to amend the act of August 6, 1958 (72 Stat. 497), relating to service as chief judge or a U.S. district court.

Provides that in each Federal judicial district having more than one judge the district judge in regular active service who is senior in commission and under seventy years of age shall, without exception, be the chief judge of the district court.
