Resolution creating a select committee to study the impact and ramifications of the Supreme Court decision on abortion.

Creates a select committee to be composed of eleven members of the House of Representatives to conduct a full and complete study of the constitutional basis of the January 22, 1973, United States Supreme Court decisions on abortion, the ramifications of such decisions on the power of the several states to enact abortion legislation, and the need for remedial action by Congress on the subject of abortions.

States that for the purpose of carrying out this resolution the committee, or any subcommittee thereof authorized by the committee to hold hearings, is authorized to sit and act during the present Congress at such times and places within the United States, including any Commonwealth or possession thereof, whether the House is in session, has recessed, or had adjourned, to hold such hearings, and to require, by subpena or otherwise, the attendance and testimony of such witnesses and the production of such books, records, correspondence, memoranda, papers, and documents, as it deems necessary.
