Provides that immediately upon the adoption of this resolution the House shall, without the intervention of any point of order, proceed to the consideration of the resolution (H. Res. 1372) to limit the authority of the Committee on House Administration to fix and adjust allowances.
States that after general debate, which shall be confined to the resolution and shall continue not to exceed one hour, to be equally divided and controlled by the chairman and ranking minority member of the Committee on House Administration, the previous question shall be considered as ordered on the resolution to its adoption or rejection without intervening motion except one motion to recommit with or without instructions and the previous question shall be considered as ordered on said motion to recommit.
