Provides that whoever uses a firearm, destructive device, or any other dangerous or deadly weapon to commit a Federal felony, or carries a firearm, destructive device, or any other dangerous or deadly weapon during the commission of a Federal felony, shall, in addition to the punishment provided for the commission of such felony, be sentenced to a term of imprisonment for not less than two years nor more than 10 years.
Provides that, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction under this Act, such person shall be sentenced to a term of imprisonment for not less than 25 years and shall not receive a suspended or probationary sentence, nor be eligible for parole; nor receive a sentence to run concurrently with any term of imprisonment, imposed for the conviction of such felony.
