Burn Facilities Act - Declares it to be the purpose of this Act to direct the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare to establish an expanded program for the treatment of burn injuries, research on burns, and the rehabilitation of burn victims.
Directs the Secretary to: (1) provide for the establishment of new burn treatment centers and the upgrading of burn units in general hospitals; (2) provide training and support of specialists to staff new and existing burn treatment facilities; (3) provide special training in emergency care of burn victims; and (4) sponsor other research and training programs related to the treatment of burn victims.
Directs the Secretary of Commerce to assist the Secretary by providing information on existing burn treatment programs, and other information.
Authorizes the appropriation of funds necessary for the purposes of this Act.
