Food Industry Antitrust Reports Act

Food Industry Reports Act - Establishes the National Commission on Structure and Competition in the Food Industry to prepare a comprehensive structural and competitive analysis of the food industry. Requires the Commission to provide an interim report on its progress and a final report containing detailed findings and conclusions.

Defines the terms food and food industry for the purposes of this Act.

Provides for the Director and staff of the Commission.

Sets forth the powers of the Commission including the holding of hearings, the taking of testimony, and the receiving of evidence.

Requires the Federal Trade Commission to provide the National Commission with an economic analysis of the structure of the food manufacturing industry.

Terminates the existence of the Commission 90 days after the submission of the Commission's final report.

Directs the Federal Trade Commission and the Department of Justice to report to Congress annually on policy planning, budget allotments, and enforcement of the antitrust laws in various sectors of the food industry.

Authorizes to be appropriated beginning with fiscal year 1978 not more than $3,500,000 to carry out the provisions of this Act.
