A bill to amend section 2575 of title 10, United States Code, to provide for more efficient disposal of lost, abandoned or unclaimed personal property that comes into the custody or control of military departments.

Reduces the time delay (presently 120 days) and increases the dollar amount limitation (presently $25) relating to the disposal of lost, abandoned, or unclaimed personal property that comes into the custody or control of military departments to a waiting period of 45 days and a dollar amount ceiling of $50.
