A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide for the payment of supplementary housing allowances to recipients of supplemental security income benefits.

Provides, under title XVI (Supplemental Security Income Benefits) of the Social Security Act, for the payment of supplementary housing allowances in an amount up to $600 to recipients of supplemental security income benefits whose annual housing expenses exceed one-third of his or her annual income.
