A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide that support and maintenance furnished in cash or kind to an eligible individual by members of his or her immediate family shall be disregarded (and shall not serve to reduce his or her supplemental security income benefits) to the extent that it does not exceed $250 a month.
