Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to cause to be minted gold coins for sale to the American people.
Sets forth the specifications of such gold coins. Requires that a gold coin of one ounce weight shall bear the portrait of the late economist Ludwig von Mises. Requires that the portrait of President Thomas Jefferson shall be borne on a gold coin of one-half ounce weight.
Stipulates that the coins minted under the provisions of this Act shall be sold only for gold bullion at the free market gold price plus a premium not to exceed the actual cost of their minting.
Provides that the coins minted under the provisions of this Act shall not be legal tender.
