Prohibits any instrumentality of the Government of the United States from requiring any declaration of the present or former marital status of any person, or the prefixing to the name of any person of any title which has the effect of indicating such status.
Declares that the provisions of this Act do not apply to the extent that such determination is essential to the execution of the law.
