A bill to amend title 28 of the United States Code to authorize the awarding of attorneys fees in civil actions before the Federal courts where the interests of justice so require and for other purposes.
Federal Court Attorneys' Fees Act - Provides that if in a civil action a Federal court determines the interests of justice so require, such court shall award reasonable attorneys' fees to the prevailing party.
Makes the United States liable for payment of any such fees under this Act the same as a private party. (Adds 28 U.S.C. 1930)
