A bill to amend chapter 39 of title 10, United States Code, to enable the President to authorize the involuntary order to active duty of Selected Reservists, for a limited period, whether or not a declaration of war or national emergency ahs been declared.

Enables the President to authorize the involuntary order to active duty of Selected Reservists, for a period, not to exceed 90 days, whether or not a declaration of war has been made by the Congress, or a national emergency has been declared by the President.

Provides that not more than 50,000 Selected Reservists may be on active duty under this Act at any one time. (Adds 10 U.S.C. 673 (b))
