Revises the copyright laws of the United States with respect to the submission of subtitles of works not reproduced for sale. Revises copyright fees.
Provides that a group of works by the same author, all first published as contributions to periodicals, including newspapers, within a twelve-month period, may, as an alternative to separte registrations, be subject to a single registration on the basis of a single deposit, application, and registration fee, under specified conditions.
Provides that a single renewal registration may be made for a group of works by the same author, all first published as contributions to periodicals, including newspapers, upon the filing of a single application and fee, under specified conditions.
Directs the Register of Copyrights to establish procedures by which copyright owners may authorize the reproduction of the copyrighted work in a way suitable for use of the blind or physically handicapped.
