Senior Citizens Transportation Act - Prohibits common carriers in interstate commerce, and recipients of assistance under the urban mass transportation program, from charging elderly and handicapped people more than half fare for their transportation during nonpeak periods of travel.
Provides for grants such carriers to cover such reductions upon a showing by the carrier that it suffered an economic loss solely because of the provisions of this Act.
