Provides, under the National Security Act, that the Central Intelligence Agency shall perform functions and duties related to intelligence gathering affecting the national security as the National Security Council may direct.
States that nothing in this Act shall be construed to authorize the Agency to engage in any military, paramilitary, or political activity.
