Designates specified lands in Virginia, Maryland, South Dakota, New Mexico, Texas, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Kentucky, Florida, Wyoming, North Carolina, Tennessee, Hawaii, California, Nevada, Washington, North Dakota, Idaho, and Montana as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System.
Establishes the Crater Lake Wilderness in Oregon, the Death Valley Wilderness in California and Nevada, the Glacier Bay in Alaska, the Glacier National Park Wilderness in Montana, the Isle Royale Wilderness in Michigan, the Katmai Wilderness in Alaska, the Organ Pipe Cactus Wilderness in Arizona the Point Reyes Wilderness in California, and the Saguaro Wilderness in Arizona.
States that a map and description of the boundaries of wilderness areas designated by this Act shall be made available for public inspection in the offices of the National Park Service.
