A bill to provide a penalty for the robbery or attempted robbery of any narcotic drug from any pharmacy.

Provides that whoever robs any pharmacy of any narcotic drug shall be fined not more than $5,000 and imprisoned for not less than two years nor more than twenty years.

Provides that whoever, in committing or attempting to commits any offense described above, assaults any person, or puts in jeopardy the life of any person by the use of a dangerous weapon or device, shall be fined not more than $10,000 and imprisoned for not less than ten years nor more than twenty-five years.

Provides that whoever, in committing or attempting to commit any such offense, kills any person or discharges any firearm shall be imprisoned for not less than twenty-five years nor more than one hundred years. (Adds 18 U.S.C. 2118)
