A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to provide that an individual who is entitled both to an old-age or disability insurance benefit and to a survivor's benefit may simultaneously receive the larger of such benefits plus one-half of the smaller.

Provides that an individual who is entitled both to an old-age or disability insurance benefit and to a survivor's benefit under title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act may simultaneously receive the larger of such benefits plus one-half of the smaller.
