A bill to amend the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to exclude from its coverage patients employed by State hospitals and other State institutions primarily engaged in the care of the sick, the aged, or the mentally ill or defective.

Excludes resident patients employed by State hospitals and other State institutions primarily engaged in the care of the sick, the aged, or the mentally ill or defective from the minimum wage and maximum hours provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938.
