A bill to amend title II of the Social Security Act to increase from 12 to 36 months the period for which benefits may be paid to an individual prior to the actual time of his or her application for such benefits.

Increases from twelve to thirty-six months the period for which benefits may be paid to an individual under title II (Old-Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act prior to the actual time of his or her application for such benefits.
