A bill to provide for the suspension of annual assessment work on mining claims held by location in the United States.

Provides for the suspension until September 1, 1980, of annual assessment work which requires that not less than $100 worth of labor performed or improvements aggregating such amount each year on mining claims in the United States. Requires the holders of such mining claims to file annually a notice indicating that the claimant desires to continue to hold the claim.
