A bill to amend the act entitled "An Act to establish a national military park at the battlefield of Monocacy, Md." (48 Stat. 1198).

Makes the national military park at the battlefield of Monocacy, Maryland, a national battlefield.

Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to acquire by donation, purchase with donated or appropriated funds, transfer from any other Federal agency, or exchange, any lands or interests in lands which are lcoated within the boundaries of the park, provided that any lands owned by the State of Maryland or any of its subdivisions may be acquired by donation only.

Permits the Secretary to lease to the immediately preceding owner or owners any lands acquired pursuant to an agreement that such lessee or lessees will occupy such lands in a manner consistent with specified purposes.
