Requires that the Director of the National Park Service be appointed by the President by and with the advice and consent of the Senate.
Stipulates that such requirement shall apply with respect to any individual currently serving or hereafter appointed as Director of the National Park Service.
Provides that any individual who is serving as Director on the date of enactment of this Act may continue to serve for a period not to exceed six months after such date, after which time such individual may serve as Director only if appointed and confirmed in accordance with this Act.
