A bill to amend the joint resolution of July 18, 1939 (53 Stat. 1062), to provide for the acceptance of additional lands for the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site.
Permits acceptance by the United States of title to any part of the Hyde Park estate and to any contiguous property located in the town of Hyde Park, New York, which shall be donated for use in connection with any designated governmental function in the administration of such area.
Authorizes to be appropriated, in addition to such amounts as have been appropriated prior to the enactment of this Act, such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act but not to exceed $104,000 for development purposes.
