A bill to amend the Walsh-Healey Act and the Contract Work Hours Standards Act to permit certain employees to work a 10-hour day in the case of a 4-day workweek.

Permits employees of contractors engaged in the performance of public contracts pursuant to the Walsh- Healey Act to work a ten-hour day in the case of a four-day week. Provides that the overtime compensation provisions of the Contract Work Hours Standards Act shall apply only to hours worked in excess of ten hours in any calendary day or in excess of forty hours per workweek.
