A bill to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act to authorize payment under the medicare program for services furnished to eligible individuals in certain State and local institutions not certified as providers.

Amends title XVIII (Medicare) of the Social Security Act to authorize payment under such program for services furnished to eligible individuals in State and local institutions provided such institutions are owned or operated by a State or subdivision thereof, and furnish services which constitute inpatient hospital services.
