A bill to amend title XVI of the Social Security Act to provide an increase in the benefits payable to aged, blind, and disabled individuals under the supplemental security income program.

Amends Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) of the Social Security Act: (1) to increase from $1,752 to $2,500 the amount of income which an aged, blind, or disabled individual who does not have an eligible spouse may receive and remain an eligible individual for Title XVI benefits; (2) to make an identical increase in the amount of such benefits which such an individual may receive annually; (3) to increase from $2,628 to $3,750 the amount of income which an aged, blind, or disabled individual who has an eligible spouse may receive annually and remain eligible for Title XVI benefits; and (4) to make an identical increase in the amount of such benefits which such an individual may receive annually.
