Amends the United States Housing Act of 1937 to allow public housing agencies to enter into security agreements designed to maintain the safety and well-being of residents of dwelling units, including services of a security staff and the installation of safety systems. States that another purpose of such agreements is the planning of other security services necessary to prevent crime.
Authorizes to be appropriated an amount not to exceed $7,000,000 a year for fiscal years 1977 and 1978.
