A bill to provide for the coordination of federally supported research efforts regarding the Chesapeake Bay.
Chesapeake Bay Research Coordination Act - Establishes in the executive branch an independent establishment known as the Office for Chesapeake Bay Research Coordination to: (1) review and evaluate all research projects to ascertain the extent to which any such research project duplicates any other research project; (2) determine the benefits to the Chesapeake Bay area which will result from each such project; and (3) identify the need for additional research projects which could be of benefit to such area.
Creates the Chesapeake Bay Advisory Committee to review the research projects of the Chesapeake Bay area and submit an annual report of the Director of the Office assessing the ongoing and planned research projects for the Chesapeake Bay area.
