A bill to amend title 38 of the United States Code to provide that monthly social security benefit payments shall not be considered to be income for the purpose of determining eligibility for a pension under that title. (BILL TILE ONLY; DIGESTED IN SUBSEQUENT ISSUE)

Provides that lump-sum death payments and monthly benefits payable under title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act shall not be considered income for purposes of determining eligibility for a veterans' pension. (Amends 38 U.S.C. 503)
