Department of Transportation and Related Agencies Appropriation Act - =Title I: Department of Transportation= - Appropriates specified amounts to meet the necessary expenses for fiscal year 1977 of: (1) the Office of the Secretary of Transportation; (2) the Coast Guard; (3) the Federal Aviation Administration (including funds for airport planning grants); (4) the Federal Highway Administration; (5) the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (including funds for the Project Acceleration Demonstration Program); (6) the Federal Railroad Administration (including funds for additional operating expenses of the National Railroad Passenger Corporation, resulting from takeover of the Northeast Corridor, and for railroad rehabilitation and improvement); (7) the Urban Mass Transportation Administration; and (8) the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation.
=Title II: Related Agencies= - Appropriates specified amounts to meet the necessary expenses for fiscal year 1977 of: (1) the National Transportation Safety Board; (2) the Civil Aeronautics Board; (3) the Interstate Commerce Commission; (4) the Panama Canal; (5) the Department of the Treasury; (6) the United States Railway Association; and (7) the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
Appropriates funds necessary for expenses of the National Transportation Policy Study Commission.
=Title III: General Provisions= - Sets forth regulations and restrictions on the use of funds made available under this Act, including limitations on expenditures for highway safety and construction programs.
