Gold Labeling Act

Gold Labeling Act - Requires that the actual fineness of any item made of gold or any of its alloys and sold by manufacturers or importers more than five years after the date of the enactment of this Act must not be less by more than three one-thousandths parts than the fineness indicated by any mark on the item or by its label.

States that if such item contains solder or a gold alloy used to join together its pieces, the item assayed as one piece shall not be less, by more than seven one-thousandths parts, than the fineness indicated by its mark.
