Directs the Secretary of the Interior to make a comprehensive study of the grizzly bear in order to develop adequate conservation measures. Requires that the results of such study, along with legislative recommendations, be reported to Congress no later then January 1, 1978.
Establishes a moratorium on the killing of grizzly bears in the United States pending the completion of such study.
Authorizes the appropriation of $200,000 for fiscal years 1976, 1977, and 1978 for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Act.
