A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to grant court leave to Federal employees when called as witnesses in certain judicial proceedings.
Grants Federal and Congressional employees leave without reduction in pay or leave to which they are otherwise entitled for absences due to service as a witness in any judicial proceeding to which the United States, the District of Columbia, or a State or local government is a party.
Allows amounts appropriated for government contributions to Federal employee and retired Federal employees health plans to remain available until expended.
