A bill to amend title, 38, United States Code, to increase the rates of disability compensation for disabled veterans; to increase the rates of dependency and indemnity compensation for their survivors.
Veterans Disability Compensation and Survivors Benefits Act - Title I: Veterans Disability Compensation - Increases the rates of disability compensation for disabled veterans. Authorizes the Administrator of Veterans' affairs to adjust administratively, consistent with the increases authorized by this Act, the rates of indemnity and dependency compensation payble to specified persons receiving veterans benefits.
Title II: Survivors Dependency and Indemnity Compensation - Increases the rates of dependency and indemnity compensation payable to widows.
Title III: Effective Date: - Provides that this Act shall take effect on October 1, 1976. (Amends 38 U.S.C. 314,315,411,413)
