A bill to strengthen the penalty provisions of the Gun Control Act of 1968.

Provides that whoever uses a firearm to commit a Federal felony, or carries a firearm unlawfully during the commission of a Federal felony, shall, in addition to the punishment provided for the commission of such felony, be sentenced to a term of imprisonment for not less than one year nor more than ten years.

Provides that, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction under this Act, such person shall be sentenced to a term of imprisonment for not less than twenty-five years and shall not receive a suspended or probationary sentence, nor a sentence to run concurrently with any term of imprisonment, imposed for the conviction of such felony.
