Provides that any individual who on November 5, 1971, was a law enforcement officer employed in the Naval Investigative Service or the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, and at any time after November 5, 1971, and before the date of the enactment of this Act, was an employee of the Defense Investigative Service of the Department of Defense whose duties were primarily related to conducting personnel security investigations, may elect to have all such service within the Defense Investigative Service be considered as service as a law enforcement officer for specified purposes including basic pay, mandatory separation, retirement and computation of annuity.
