A bill to amend the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act of 1973 to require eligible applicants to hire veterans in connection with filling transitional public service jobs.

Stipulates, under the provisions of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act, that eligible applicants for funding shall hire veterans in connection with filling transistional public service jobs, on a ratio set forth in this Act.

Stipulates that those veterans to be hired under this Act shall have been discharged from active duty under conditions other than dishonorable.
