Authorizes the American Legion to place in the District of Columbia and its environs on lands owned by the United States the bell which is known as the American Legion's Freedom Bell.
Provides that all costs which are necessary for the placement of the Freedom Bell shall be borne by the American Legion. Provides that the Bell shall be maintained by the Secretary of the Interior.
Provides that all plans for the choice of the site and the placement of the Freedom Bell shall be subject to the approval of the Secretary of the Interior, the Commission on Fine Arts, and the National Capitol Planning Commission.
