Establishes a Joint Committee on Aging to plan and conduct a congressional conference on aging. Provides that the conference shall seek to establish facts and develop recommendations for the purpose of developing a national policy toward the improvement of the conditions of older persons in the United States.
Authorizes the joint committee to appoint such staff as necessary to carry out its functions under this joint resolution.
Directs the joint committee to report its findings and recommendations to the House and Senate no later than January 31, 1977.
Provides that expenses of the joint committee shall be paid from the contingent fund of the House of Representatives, upon vouchers signed by the chairman.
