Resolution providing for the beginning of the second session of the 94th Congress.
Provides that the regular session of the Ninety-fourth Congress shall begin at noon on Monday, January 19, 1976.
Requires the President to transmit to the Congress by January 21, 1976 the budget for fiscal year 1977 and to transmit to Congress by January 26, 1976 the Economic Report. Directs the Joint Economic Committee to file its report on the President's 1976 Economic Report with the House and Senate by March 19, 1976.
Allows the Speaker of the House and President pro tempore of the Senate to notify the members to reconvene in two days if in their opinion public interest warrants it or whenever the majority leaders of the House and Senate, acting jointly, or the minority leaders of the House and Senate, acting jointly, file a written request with the Clerk of the House and Secretary of the Senate that the Congress reassemble for the consideration of legislation.
