Joint resolution directing the Attorney General to conduct an investigation of the finances of New York City to determine whether any violations of Federal laws have contributed to that city's financial crisis.

Directs the Attorney General of the United States to investigate the city of New York to determine whether any violation of any law of the United States has helped in bringing about the City's possible default.

Requires the Attorney General to submit an interim and final report outlining his findings and his actions as a result of such investigations.
