Joint resolution proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the United States with respect to public prayer and religious instruction.

Constitutional Amendment - States that nothing in the U. S. Constitution shall be construed to forbid prayer in public places or in institutions of the States or of the United States, including schools, if such instruction is provided under private auspices, whether or not religious.

States that the right of the people to participate in prayer or religious instruction shall not be infringed.
