Establishes the National Commission on Housing for the Elderly which shall have responsibility for investigating: (1) present Federal programs to provide low- and middle-income housing for senior citizens; (2) the need for additional housing; (3) the feasibility of rehabilitating existing central city housing; and (4) the need for activities and a living environment which provides adequate security.
Requires the Commission to submit to the President and the Congress a report on the investigation together with its recommendations, not later than 18 months after the date on which a majority of the membership is appointed.
